TCC's 幼儿教育 program: Emphasis on Children with Exceptionalities prepares students to become successful early childhood professionals working with young children to meet their individual needs. 这个项目是为那些想要 to work with young children (birth through 8 years old), including children who are culturally, linguistically and ability 多样化的. TCC students can earn stand-alone certificates, or apply them to an Associate of Applied 科学学位

This certificate is a pathway to the Early Childhood 教育短的证书 of Specialization, the 幼儿教育 Emphasis on Children with Exceptionalities Certificate, and the 幼儿教育 Emphasis on Children 有例外的AAS学位. The certificate is directed toward students working or planning to work with children birth through eight years old. 早期的 Childhood 教育最初的证书 is aligned with the Washington State ECE common 课程和可堆叠证书.

TCC’s 应用科学副学士学位 in 幼儿教育: Emphasis on Children with Exceptionalities builds on the ECE可堆叠证书系列.

It is an academic program designed to include general education requirements to earn 副学士学位. 学生将 develop the skills needed to pursue employment opportunities are in preschools, childcare centers, family childcare, HeadStart/ECEAP programs, kindergarten through third grade classrooms (as a teacher assistant), and/or other early learning programs.
